The Great Australian Ride

We met Stuart Ball when he rocked up into our shop expressing a kinship between his KTM990 and our KTM530s which we hired up until recently.

We got chatting and Stuart told us about his passion and a matter very close to his own heart, The Great Australian Ride.  We just love his enthusiasm and his innate ability to raise awareness and a bucket load of donations and sponsorship for such a deserving cause.   We are very proud to be an associated partner and keep watching in awe as he goes from strength to strength year in year out.

Welcome to The Great Australian Ride, Australia’s ultimate east to west adventure motorcycle charity ride. 

You could be part of our Team of 12 riders, known as Team GAR and set off from Australia’s most easterly point, Byron Bay in New South Wales.  Travel through the heart of our great country, including The Simpson and Gibson Desert to reach our ultimate end goal, Steep Point, Australia’s most westerly point.

Raising funds and awareness for Sids and Kids charity.
