Do you organise the ferry ticket and vehicle access permit or can we do that when we pick up the 4WD?

Ferry (or barge) tickets organised in conjunction with your vehicle contract.  Permits completed on your behalf, payable to Queensland Parks office here in Rainbow Beach.

Barge/ferry fare to Rainbow Beach is currently $90 return. Vehicle Access Permit (payable to Queensland Parks & Wildlife Service office in Rainbow Beach) is currently $38.25 per vehicle. Public Camping Permit is currently $5.00 per night per person.

How often do the ferries operate?

Ferries operate daily (low tide dependent back and forth on demand) 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
